Albane Leroux
After finishing my BTS (B option) in Hospitality, I travelled 9 months in Australia to improve my English.
Then, I decided to go back to school to get a master's degree. I opted to study in London with a French school, Eshotel. Since I want to travel and work in management, speaking fluently English is essential.
London is a great multicultural city, rich in historic monuments and lot of shops.but also very expensive! Consequently, I have found a part time job as "chef de rang" in a nice restaurant in Chelsea. It is also a way for me to get more professional experience, meet people and improve my English.
Our study program is very interesting, adapted to our future careers. It helps me to better understand the manager's position. The main difficulty for me is expressing my ideas in writing, but I find I understand my professors well. Learning my lessons take me more time, and it is also more tiring than in French. But before I came to London , I knew that it would not be easy, and I took it like a challenge. I think it is very important for my future career to show to my employers than when I was 21, I left my country to learn English and management. |
