Les étudiants à Londres

Benoît Tchernonog

I earned my « baccalureat L » in 2003 and my BTS in Catering and Hospitality at Eshotel Paris in 2006.

I left for London to improve my English level.

My first problem was to find enough money for my accommodations. Indeed, English people don't trust French students and they ask for two month's deposit in advance.

Another problem was to open a bank account. I haven't solved this problem for the moment but imagine I will eventually find my way since everyone else does sooner or later.

London is larger than Paris and yet people are less stressed and stressful.

I have found for the moment that the people here are nicer than in Paris. London at night is well served; there are buses and pubs all night.

Except for the cost of life, London is a pleasant city.

I haven't yet had any real serious difficulties to understand my teachers when they speak. However, I have trouble speaking fluently and finding my words. I need more vocabulary.

I don't know yet what I want to do next year, except that I know I don't want to work yet. Perhaps I will continue one more year to complete my master's degree. But I don't want to think about that right now.
